Every year, thousands of Ugandans travel abroad seeking better employment opportunities. While many succeed, others experience exploitation, workplace abuse, unpaid wages, detention, medical emergencies, or become stranded without immediate support.
MWSAU was established to provide an organized support system that connects migrant workers with emergency coordination, welfare assistance, advocacy, information, and trusted guidance throughout their employment journey.
When a Ugandan migrant worker faces a serious challenge abroad, MWSAU provides a structured response pathway to help connect the worker, family, employer, embassy, recruitment agency or relevant authority.

The worker or family submits an emergency request through the member dashboard or support line.
MWSAU reviews the case, checks member records and starts coordinated follow-up.
