The Migrant Workers' Support Association Uganda (MWSAU) is the official body established to register and safeguard Ugandans going to, or already working abroad. Registration provides every worker with an official Registration Certificate, valid for one year, which unlocks access to emergency help, advocacy, and welfare support when facing challenges in foreign countries.
To protect Ugandan migrant workers by providing safe registration, certification, education, advocacy, and rapid emergency response services.
A future where every Ugandan Working abroad is officially registered, recognized, and able to access protection and support when in distress.
Every year, thousands of Ugandans travel abroad for employment opportunities. Sadly, many encounter abuse, unpaid wages, detention, or even death without proper help. MWSAU was founded to close this gap — ensuring that no Ugandan abroad is left without support. Registration and certification give migrant workers peace of mind that they are not alone, and that help is available if things go wrong.
